Load Cells

We offer a wide variety of quality load cells. Whether it is a replacement cell, or one for a custom application, we have you covered. Our knowledgeable application specialists can help determine the right load cell for your project.
    • Single-Ended Beams

Specifically designed for low profile scales and process applications, single-ended beam load cells are available in capacities ranging from 1,000 lbs up to 20,000 lbs. These load cells are constructed of tool steel as well as stainless steel. When hermetically sealed, a single ended shear beam load cell is ideal for washdown applications.

    • Double-Ended Beams

A double-ended shear beam load cell is secured at both ends and the load is applied to the center of the load cell. These load cells are most commonly used in vehicle weighing applications and tank and hopper applications. Like the single ended shear beam load cell, double ended shear beam load cells are also constructed of tool steel or stainless steel.

    • S-Beam/S-Cells

Named for their s-type shape, S beam load cells are most often found in mechanical-to-electronic scale conversion applications, suspended hoppers or tanks and general purpose weighing applications. These load cells are available in capacities ranging from 25 lbs through 20,000 lbs.

    • Single Points

These load cells are most commonly found in light capacity bench scale applications and are available in capacities ranging from 1 kg through 1,000 kg. Single point load cells are most commonly made of aluminum. Several models are available with the additional protection of stainless steel.

    • Canisters

Compression canister load cells are ideal for high capacity weighing. These load cells are available in a variety of capacities and are typically used in vehicle weighing applications, and tank and hopper weighing applications. Because canister load cells are hermetically sealed, they provide excellent environmental protection in hazardous environments.

    • Sensors

Sensors provide a small package alternative for light capacity applications, including bench scales and tank and conveyor weighing. Typical capacities range from 1 lb to 300 lb, although stainless steel button-type sensors are available in capacities up to 8000 lb. Popular applications for this sensor are fastener testing and torque measurement.
